Carrot puree

This lovely first tastes recipe (carrot puree) is great to start with as its easy to digest and babies generally like the natural sweetness of the carrots.

Carrots are high in vitamin A and C as well as many other nutrients.

You can make this recipe as a larger batch if you want to make more use of cooking and freezing portions. Simply increase the quantity of carrots and then when made pop into some little pots or ice cube trays to freeze.

Once your baby has accepted carrots you can start to mix with their milk or a little baby rice.
